General information concerning MKD-consulting
History
MKD-consulting was established as an independent company in July 2006 and is run by Martin Kirch Dige. The company hsa been operated in parallel with my study to become Academic Engineer in communication networks. In the beginning the company was primarily involved with servicing and modifying an online webshop based on the open source product osCommerce. Since then several other types of tasks has been added to our expertises with among other things servicing Linux servers in general and overall system administration. MKD-consulting has also been involved in design and implementation of various other types of home pages.
MKD-consulting has evolved since the establishment in 2006. Besides servicing Linux servers and programming home pages MKD-consulting also have experience in configuration and installation of gateway-, mail- and database-servers. As an example MKD-consulting has serviced a campus network thereby ensuring a properly functioning Internet connection for 196 flats at the campus. Optimisation of operating costs by means of virtualisation is also an area within the expertises of MKD-consulting.
Being on the lookout for new technologies in this highly evolving business is key parameter why MKD-consulting follows the development and continues to add new expertises to our portfolio. |
